August 27, 2008--Automation Systems Interconnect's line of grey DIN rail-mounted spring clamp connection terminal blocks has been designed to simplify and reduce wiring time. The blocks are available in sizes from 4 to 16 mm wide and can handle wire sizes of 26 to 2 AWG. They carry ratings from 15 amps at 600 volts up to 76 amps at 600 volts.
Weidmuller offers tool-free RJ-45 Ethernet connector
August 25, 2008--Weidmuller's proprietary 2-piece RJ-45 Ethernet connectors do not require cable stripping or crimping. The only tool needed for termination is a knife or other cutting tool to remove the cable's outer jacket and cut the conductors to length.
