August 27, 2008 -- Allied Electronics has expanded its value-added services to include a next day kitting service.
Customers can now order kitted products, such as Amphenol Industrial's 97 Series connectors, and have them shipped within the next business day.
"We are pleased to offer this expanded time-saving service to our customers," comments Scott McLendon, vice president of marketing at Allied. "Allied's next day kitting service will save engineers time and allow them to get the products they need quicker."
The distributor also credits itself with offering "the latest order cut off time in the industry," allowing engineers and purchasers to order up to 10 p.m. EST and receive same day UPS ground shipping.
