July 22, 2008 -- Allied Electronics has signed an agreement with AIM Solder, a global manufacturer of solder assembly materials, to distribute that company's solder products.
"We are pleased to partner with AIM Solder to strengthen Allied's offering of solder products," comments Scott McLendon, vice president of marketing at Allied. "This partnership gives our design engineer customers access to AIM Solder products in stock and available for quick delivery."
Allied now carries AIM Solder products including solder paste, wire solder and bar solder lines. AIM Solder products can be found on the Allied Web site and will be featured in the new Allied catalog that debuts in October 2008.
"AIM's position in the Southwest region will be greatly strengthened by the appointment of Allied Electronics," remarks Bill Kawales, executive sales manager at AIM. "I am confident that Allied's network of 55 sales branches nationwide will provide AIM Solder customers with unparalleled service."
