Sullins Electronics re-brands as Sullins Connector Solutions

April 16, 2008 -- Sullins Electronics, Inc., a supplier of RoHS-compliant board level interconnect products, announced that corporate action to change its company name has been concluded, and that the company has begun operating under its new name, Sullins Connector Solutions, Inc., effective immediately.

"We anticipate that our new name and corporate identity will enhance brand recognition for our full lines of edgecards, headers, bi-level, and CompactPCI connectors, as well as more accurately indicate our core competencies as an interconnect solutions provider," comments Wade Harb, Sullins' CEO.

As part of the corporate action, Sullins Connector Solutions has adopted a new logo and Internet domain name. The company's new Website, www.sullinscorp.com, is expected to be online by June 2008.

The company says the changes reflect its new positioning "as a single source for an expanding portfolio of connectors encompassing both the Sullins and MicroPlastics brands."

"We believe it better reflects our focus on problem solving, along with our expertise in all facets of connector technology, from engineering and manufacturing, to delivering quality parts directly to OEMs or assembliers," adds Harb. "It is also our intention that the new name will emphasize the broad-based management changes and strategic initiatives recently implemented to grow our business, and meet the needs of our growing customer base."
