Allied Electronics expands connector offering

January 22, 2008 -- Allied Electronics (Fort Worth, TX), a subsidiary of Electrocomponents plc, announced that it has signed distribution agreements with two new suppliers to expand its product offering of connectors.

Allied has signed an agreement with Hirschmann Automation and Control to distribute its ICON (Industrial Connectors) line.

The distributor has also signed an agreement with Pass & Seymour/Legrand to distribute that company's GCFI products, duplex receptacles, inlets and outlets, as well as Turnlok connectors and plugs.

Both suppliers and their product lines are featured in Section 2 of the 2008 Allied catalog.

"Customers now have access to more than 40,000 connector solutions from Allied," notes Lee Davidson, president of Allied.
