Wire and harness industry distributor Training Service and Repair (TSR; www.tsr-mi.com) has introduced the U.K.-based line of Cobra wiring harness machines. These tools feature high-speed production, and the ability to use large packages of braid designed to reduce run-out waste and lower downtime. According to TSR, a recent time study shows that the Cobra took about 2.5 minutes to wire a harness compared to 4.5 minutes by comparable tools. The company carries 16, 24, 36, and 48 carrier braiders.
Also from TSR is Adhesive Tape Products LTD’s line of adhesive electrical tapes. A broad range of single- and double-coated tapes are available, with acrylic solvent, and water-based, natural and synthetic rubber, and silicone adhesives.
